March, 08 2010 Better than the Phoenix! Congratulation to all our NZ Age Group swimmers for their tremendous effort at Christchurch last week. It was exciting to see so many medals, finalists and personal bests chalked up from a large group of our finest talent. Finishing top Wellington club (with a points score better than all the other wgtn clubs combined) and second overall in the country was a great reward for all that effort over the year. Having the best coaches in NZ also helps! Thanks to the parents (Dave Clareburt, Barbara Ryan , Briar Moir and Angela Jones) for taking time out to help look after the team. So pat yourselves on the back, thank your parents, and for those going to Opens, look forward your next challenge! Good to see the Capital spirit still strong. Train hard Race hard! Steve The Chair
