July, 06 2009 Trans Tasman Tri Series DAY 6 (11/07/2009): Session 6: Samantha wins the 100 fly (1:00.17) in a time just outside her NZ record. Ellen comes 3rd (1:01.98 - SC PB) in the same event. Samantha and Ellen are part of the NZ 'A' 400 Free relay team which comes 1st (4:10.15) in a meet record time. DAY 5 (10/07/2009): Session 5: Samantha comes 3rd in the 200 free (2:02.76) in a Wellington record time. Ellen and Samantha are part fo the NZ 'A' 400 free relay team which finishes 3rd. Ellen's lead off time of 57.12 is a Wellington Age (16) record. DAY 4 (09/07/2009): Session 4: Samantha wins the 50 fly skins semi (27.69) again just outside her NZ Record, but she getting closer and closer. She will break it in the finals. Ellen comes 2nd in the 100 breast (1:13.75). Samantha finishes 3rd in the 200 fly (2:16.82). Samantha wins the 50 fly skins (27.34) breaking her NZ Age and Wellington Age & Open records. Samantha is part of the NZ 'A' 200 free relay team which finishes 3rd. DAY 3 (08/07/2009): Session 3: Samantha finishes 1st in the 50 fly skin skins preliminaries (27.88) in a time just outside her NZ Record. Ellen finishes 4th in the 100 free (57.45) a big improvement on a couple of days ago and a SC PB. Samantha wins the 100 fly (1:00.62) again in a time just outside her NZ record. Samantha is part of the NZ 'A' Womens 200 Medley relay team which comes 1st. DAY 2 (07/07/2009): No racing today. Travel by bus to Wodonga. DAY 1 (06/07/2009): Session 2: Ellen comes 3rd in the semi-finals of the 50 breast skins (33.51) breaking the Wellington record again but not fast enough to make the final later this evening. Ellen finishes 6th in the 100 free (1:00.36) well outside her best. Samantha finishes 1st in the 100 fly (1:00.16) just outside her NZ record time. Ellen finishes 6th in the 400 IM (5:11.49) again well outside her best. Samantha is part of the NZ 'A' 200 medley relay team which finishes 2nd. Session 1: Ellen comes 3rd in the heats of the 50 breast skins (34.01) breaking the Wellington Record (16yrs). Samantha comes 2nd in the 200 Fly (2:15.16). Ellen comes 2nd in the 200IM (2:22.99).
