October, 26 2009 Classic Success A fantastic meet at the weekend saw a level of excitement and interest rarely seen outside major national meets. The Wheel of Pain even made The Dominion on Monday! Big thanks to all who helped put it together and played their part on the day. Its fundraising efforts like that which ensure the club remain as vibrant and strong as we are at the moment. It was great to see the International swimmers make their way down from Auckland, and the younger swimmers around the pool seemed to enjoy their presence, if the amount of autographs given were anything to go by. Special mention to Robert Loo, Jillian Kennemore and Steven Kent who all worked long hours behind the scenes to make it a meet to remember. Don't forget our next fundraising meet will be in February with the Capital City Mazda Sprint. The Chair
