I appreciate this time of year is hectic followed by a much needed period of holidays thereafter but please set yourself reminders to register your swimmer/s by the closing date if they are wanting to enrol in one of these Regional Meets.
12U CHAMPS – ENTRIES CLOSE this Sunday, December 6, 2020
Junior parents, please check the Eligibility report to see the full list of individual events your swimmer has qualified for. Swimming Wellington has recently adjusted qualification times so your swimmer/s list may have changed.
With this Meet held over 4 sessions, could every registered swimmer please provide at least one helper to help with the workload. Below are the roles on offer and the timing of the 4 sessions:
Session 1: Saturday, 12 December, Warm up 8am, racing 8:35am
Session 2: Saturday, 12 December, Warm up 2pm, racing 2:35pm
Session 3: Sunday, 13 December, Warm up 8am, racing 8:35am
Session 4: Sunday, 13 December, Warm up 2pm, racing 2:35pm
Session 1 – 4: Time-keepers, no previous experience needed.
Session 1 – 4: IOTs (inspector of turns), prior training and qualification needed.
Session 1 – 4 : Team Manager, prior training needed.
Session 1: Refreshments, no previous experience needed. Prepare and place out food and drinks for Officials in the Marshalling Room. Clear away and clean up towards the end of the session.
Session 3: 1 Adult to assist with Ribbons and another to help with Medals prizegiving.
Please let me know which Session/s you can help with and which role/s you would prefer to do and I will do my best to accommodate. Remember helping is a condition of your swimmer’s registration and racing at this Meet.

Held over 6 sessions over Wellington Anniversary weekend, help will be needed so please forward to me asap the help you can provide over the 6 sessions listed below.

Session 2: Saturday, 23 January, Warm up 3pm, racing 3:50pm
Session 3: Sunday, 24 January, Warm up 7:30am, racing 8:20am
Session 4: Sunday, 24 January, Warm up 3pm, racing 3:50pm
Session 5: Monday, 25 January, Warm up 7:30am, racing 8:20am
Session 6: Monday, 25 January, Warm up 3pm, racing 3:50pm

A reminder to enter into ANY event in a regional meet, swimmers must be financially registered as an active Competitive Swimmer on the SNZ database. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if I need to amend your swimmer’s level on the SNZ database for them to register. If a change is made, there will be a further SNZ membership fee to pay direct to SNZ via your swimmer’s Fast Lane account.
